Golf Outing Raises $34,000 To Benefit Hondurans In Need

Thank you for your support of the 2023 Honduras Hope Mission Charity Golf Outing.  This year we had a total of 24 foursomes (96 golfers) - the largest turnout ever. With your help we raised over $34,000.  

These funds will be used to support the upcoming Medical Mission Trip to Honduras in February 2024, when the mission team will be working in the town of La Villa de San Francisco and five surrounding communities, providing medical, dental and vision care to between 1500 and 2000 very poor Hondurans.  For many of them this is the only medical care they receive all year.  To patients who come to the clinics the team will provide all needed medicines, eyeglasses, toothbrushes, toothpaste, dental floss, Bibles, and children’s Bible storybooks.  Each family will also receive a ceramic water filter, which will enable the family to have clean, parasite-free drinking water for up to two years.  

In addition, you are also helping to provide food and educational support, including school uniforms and other school supplies, to 25 of the poorest families with whom we work all year.

All of this is free to the Honduran recipients, thanks to your generosity.  Whether you were a major donor, a tee sign sponsor, a golfer, or all of the above, please know that you are playing an important part in improving the lives of Honduran families in need
